I'm a sucker for makeup brushes; this Hakuhodo eye shadow brush has only exacerbated my madness for them. The bristles are made of blue squirrel, one of the softest, luxurious hair for makeup brushes. The tapered end glides over the eyelids like feathers. The brush density allows for just right amount of flexibility for desired application, and the bristles pick up powder products with ease. I like to use this brush to sweep a light wash of color all over my eyelids. The Kukutan wooden handle feels smooth as river rocks; according to Hakuhodo website, the luster of the handle increases with use.
